You do not need to be a resident of Idaho to obtain an Idaho marriage license, and there is no waiting period — you may get married the same day you get your license. Witnesses are not required in the state of Idaho. Minors aged 17 and younger may marry in Idaho, but 208 Officiant declines these services except in terminal illness cases.

Working with a wedding coordinator is highly recommended. 208 Officiant is happy to attend rehearsals, but may charge an additional fee if no coordinator is hired to run the rehearsal.

For larger ceremonies, professional audio equipment for officiant use is required — a lapel mic is preferred over a handheld one. If you're using a playlist operator, they should attend the rehearsal with the music.

Close parking should be reserved for the officiant. If your venue charges fees that apply to the officiant, please disclose those in advance so they can be added to your package cost.

Ceremonies more than 30 miles outside of Nampa incur travel fees. Accommodation costs may apply for more distant locations.

A gratuity is never expected, though always appreciated. A kind review is just as valued a gift.

208 Officiant handles filing your marriage license after the ceremony. You'll want certified copies afterward if you plan to update names on identification documents.
