Ordained · Universal Life Church

It started with a favor for a friend.

Barbara Goldberg-Davis became an ordained, non-denominational officiant through the Universal Life Church in 2013, when a friend asked her to marry them. What began as a one-time favor turned into something that genuinely brings her joy — and nearly a decade of ceremonies later, it still does.

Alongside officiating, Barbara has spent nearly 30 years building a full-time career in the travel industry — a background that shows up in the way she plans, adapts, and stays calm no matter what a wedding day throws at her.

Personal

Married nearly 20 years — to someone who taught her what commitment means.

Barbara has been married for close to two decades to a U.S. Navy Seabees veteran. That experience shapes how she approaches military ceremonies in particular — with real understanding, not just sympathy.

She's also an active volunteer with the Irreverent Warriors Boise chapter, an organization supporting veterans' mental health through community connection and humor.
